In this video you can learn about scripts and asset track which will help you to reduce your file size and will clean your file so that your file will behave Script for clean viruses and accumulated garbage in your 3Ds Max scene. I have added the code to also purge the SME at the same time. This causes a huge memory requirements. It would be great if 3DSMax had a clever purge routine or wizard, like Maya or AutoCad: Maya. You can also delete components and materials individually, directly from their respective Panel.
