You can make a subject access request to the ACRO Criminal Records Office (ACRO) free of charge. A subject access request from ACRO will search records from police forces in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey and the Isle of Man and the British Transport Police. This is referred to as a Subject Access Request or ‘SAR’. You have the right to ask for a copy of records the police have about you on the Police National Computer (PNC) and this request is processed by ACRO. By completing this form you will receive a list of all information held on the PNC including arrests, criminal convictions, cautions, juvenile reprimands, final warnings, non-convictions and no further action (NFA) outcomes or a letter confirming that no information is held.
